Xavier Lopez

Xavier James Lopez of Uvalde, Texas, was embraced by our Lord on May 24, 2022, and gained his wings at the age of 10. He was born on March 12, 2012, in Uvalde, Texas, to Abel and Felicha Lopez.

Xavier, an active young boy who enjoyed playing baseball for the Blue Jays baseball team.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Abel and Felicha Lopez; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Amelia Sandoval of Brackettville, Texas; paternal grandparents, Lupe and Gilda Lopez of Uvalde, Texas; sisters, Angelica Rios of Uvalde, Texas and Odessa Guana of Batesville, Texas; brothers, Jose and Angel Marie of Uvalde, Texas; Jermya Lopez , Justan Lopez of  Uvalde , Texas Andy Uribe of Junction, Texas; Tyler Lopez and Andrew Lopez of Batesville, Texas; five nieces and 2 nephews, along with numerous aunts and uncles.

Xavier is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Benito Martinez, Sr..

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Rushing Estes Knowles from 2:00PM – 9:00PM with the Prayer Service beginning at 7:00PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Rushing Estes Knowles at 10:00AM. Interment will follow services at Hillcrest Cemetery.
